Types of Warranties

Extended Warranty

Extended Warranty refers to any extension of manufacturer’s warranty offered at the point of sale of products. It is also known as service contract/ agreement and the cover only commences on completion of the original warranty. The extended warranty period may range between 12 and 48 months. This offer is applied to new goods only, sold by the dealer, or built into the product by the manufacturer.
